What happened when you turned 16? Did your mom feel that you were old enough to decide or something? Do you still believe in a goddess? If so, is she a nurturing mother goddess? Would you ever join another coven? Eeep, sorry for bombarding you with questions, just have a very curious nature ♥ And thank you for answering!
Well, my mom never said no to religion. Being raised atheist is different from being raised in a religion. There are no religious expectations for me. She always gave us the option to go to church if I wanted to. Or any religious circle. In fact my grandmother took me many times to her church from the time I was four. Always on Easter, and only if I wanted to go. My mom never forced us to be anything. So she was fine with me being part of a coven. Yet, she did have a problem with hearing about what I got up to during the rituals. Not that I did anything she would disapprove of, but she just didn’t care to know. It didn’t interest her at all and she just was glad I was happy without needing to hear the details.
My interest in religion was actually sparked by being raised without a deity. I wanted to further my spirituality. Which in the end is what I did. So no, I don’t believe in a goddess. I do believe in nature, and that we are all more connected than we realize. In both positive and negative ways. So in the end I’m more of a Pantheist when it comes to my spirituality.
I like questions! Feel free to always ask me stuff :)
